Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, well-known for her character Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Later, she appeared in numerous Broadway shows before becoming the most famous on stage along with Li'l abner in 1957. Also, she released her debut music album called It's time for Tina that same year. Louise began her Hollywood career in 1958 in which she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre a dramatic film. The film was a huge hit and Louise received the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's student. In 1964, she was offered her second notable role, when CBS signed her to portray Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her career effectively in between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting in somber roles contrasted to her perception of glamour-doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in recent years she's also made her name as an accomplished director on several well-known television series including Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28th 1965. Her family emigrated to Toronto at the age of three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. After being chosen in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has resided there ever since.
