Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is an actor most well-known for her role as Bo in the Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and is a drama teacher in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching and attending play rehearsals. Silk was a small actress in commercials. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. After that, she relocated to Los Angeles California during the following decade. She met her new husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's training held in Los Angeles in 2007. When she got engaged in 2008, they married in 2009. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renew their vows during the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk had an infant son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's TV work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she was cast as the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk revealed to fans the good information that she was pregnant on the set of Season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was shown by Showcase in a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the premiere. Silk announced on Twitter on the 20th of June, 2013 that production was underway for Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for Season 4 of the show. The character she played Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical in the show Lost Girl was named one of the most popular Television Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top TV Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in an enormous online following on social media.
