A glittering career sometimes hides many a sad story beneath. Lolo Jones, winner of USA and World hurdle championships has achieved this status after many years working hard and a lot of perseverance. Jones grew up with an extremely difficult and hardship-filled life as the child of a single mother who had five other children. Her mother was always moving around and even resided in the basement of a church for a length of time. Jones was required to relocate into a new school each year up until her high school years because of this nomadic existence. Jones moved away from her mother and moved to Theodore Roosevelt to enable her to pursue her track interest. She lived with different families throughout high school, so that she was capable of focusing on her academics. Jones received an award called the Gatorade Iowa Track and Field Athlete of the Year award in high school. She was involved in the school orchestra, as a cello player. Jones was among the top hurdlers at the time she entered college. She won the 100-meter hurdles at the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. She also participated in the team finishing second for 100-meters relay. Jones was the winner of both indoor hurdles and the outdoor hurdles event during the NCAA Championship in 2003. Career After completing her studies in 2005, Jones started to train hard in pursuit of a track career. In 2005 she won winning the Torino Memorial race, in 2006 she was the Heusden and Ostrava racers.
Brandt was raised and born in Cape Town in South Africa. She emigrated into Auckland New Zealand with her family when she was in her teens. The local casting directors discovered her. Brandt took on the role of Naevia in the Starz hit series Spartacus: Blood and Sand as well as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Due to her partnership with Steven S. D Knight's and Sam Raimi's producers, she was a breakout star. She starred in the hit Netflix series Lucifer that had a six year run. She played the favorite Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Forbes has ranked Lucifer the most binged-out show of 2021. Brandt's next performance will be in an episode of six in the Walking Dead spin-off in 2024 with Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurrira. She is also starring opposite Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated series Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. Lesley-Ann Brandt was born on the 2nd of December, 1981 in Cape Town South Africa. She's a very talented New Zealand actor. Lesley Brandt, along with her whole family, moved to Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. She began her career working in Auckland as a store manager, and was then made an IT manager consultant. Lesley began modeling, after which she began appearing in commercials. Her acting degree was completed in 2008, and then continued to study Meisner's methods. Lesley Brandt had her first major acting job on the screen in New Zealand in TV Drama Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt is a supporting character on New Zealand television drama Shortland Street. Then she appeared on a science-fiction drama arrangement This Is Not My Life in which the story was based on Waimoana, a fictional city. Waimoana. Lesley Brandt appeared as Naevia a young hostage in the Television Series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. This character was later shown in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
