Yael stone, a New York City-based Australian resident, was the character Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael graduated from NIDA. At a very young age, Yael has been lucky enough to work with some of Australia's top storytellers, stars of theatre and visionaries who work behind the scenes in films, television and theatre. Yael is a well-known actress throughout Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's move to New York City began when the production received a prestigious review at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael is co-founder The Cannery. The Cannery. Based in the Bushwick, Brooklyn studio, The Cannery promotes new writing, innovative creative projects, and supports the development of young writers.
